Being a debian maintainer for a few years, I decided to take a serious look at gpsk31 and see if it could be ported to version 2 of the GTK+ libraries. A few evenings later I compiled a working version and made a couple of QSO's to proof that the new version worked. Below is a screenshot of a beta version.
I liked gpsk31 so much that I decided to add xlog support, clean up the gui and fix some bugs. Then I mailed Luc, LX2GT and asked if he would be interested in a new version. Luc explained that he had been working on a KDE version called kpsk and was no longer interested in maintaining gpsk31. So here we are.... version 0.5 is available in the download section.
Since I am now official maintainer of gpsk31, I would appreciate receiving bug and usage reports.
